Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 15, 2026
HueMock (also known as Page Coloring App on iOS) is developed by Toka Abdelrahman. This policy applies to both the iOS and Android versions of the App and explains how it handles your information.
The short version: HueMock has no accounts and no ads, and nothing you scan or color ever leaves your device except through your own private iCloud. To improve the App we count how often its features are used. Those counts carry no name, no account and no device identifier, so they can't be linked to you or your device. Tutorial videos play from YouTube, Instagram or TikTok when you open one.
1. Information We Collect
The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers. Your pages, palettes and photos stay on your device and, on iOS, in your private iCloud account if enabled. The only thing the App sends is anonymous usage counts, described in section 5.
The Tutorials section downloads a public list of tutorials from huemock.com so it can show new ones. That request carries nothing about you: no account, no identifier, and nothing from your pages or palettes.
2. Photos & Camera
The App accesses your camera and photo library only when you choose to scan or import a coloring page. Photos are processed entirely on-device and are never uploaded to any server.
3. Data Storage
On iOS, the App may sync your coloring pages across your devices using your private iCloud container. Apple manages this data under their own privacy policy.
On Android, all data is stored locally on your device. You can manually export and import backups using the app's built-in backup feature.
No other party has access to your data on either platform.
4. In-App Purchases
The App offers optional subscriptions and one-time purchases processed entirely through Apple's App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Payment information is handled by the respective platform and is never accessible to the developer.
5. Analytics & Tracking
The App counts how its features are used so we can improve it — for example how many times a palette is shared, which tools are opened, how many people use the App each day, roughly how much coloring happens in a day (as ranges, such as "11–50 fills"), which marker brands and sets are used, and which tutorials are watched. These counts are sent to our analytics provider, TelemetryDeck.
The counts contain no name, account, email, advertising identifier, device identifier, location, or device details such as model or language. Every device sends the same anonymous value in place of an identifier, so the counts cannot be linked to you or your device, cannot be combined into a profile, and are never used for advertising. Nothing you type — palette or page names — and nothing from your pages or photos is ever included. To know whether the App was used today, the App remembers on your device only the dates it last sent a count.
The App uses no advertising frameworks and no tracking technologies, and it does not use the analytics SDKs that collect device identifiers.
6. Children's Privacy
The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The anonymous usage counts in section 5 use no persistent identifier and are used only to understand and improve how the App works — never to contact anyone, build a profile, or show advertising.
7. Third-Party Services
The App contains no third-party SDKs and does not share your data with anyone. Anonymous usage counts (section 5) are processed for us by TelemetryDeck, which does not store IP addresses.
Tutorial videos are shown in the YouTube, Instagram or TikTok player, provided by that platform. When you open a tutorial, its player loads from the platform, which may collect information under its own privacy policy (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok). The player only loads when you open a tutorial, and any cookies it sets are deleted when you leave it. The tutorial list shows preview images, which may load from the platform's image servers.
